I had been unable to finish cutting my vitrigraph because of wrist issues. Now I finished 2 projects and am trying to decide whether to drop for a vase just cleanup edges and display as is. Left is called Lava Flow and red one reminds me of an Octopus.

I am loving my murrini chopper from Darteglass. I am a borosilicate artist making my own Milli/Murrini designs. Chops anything round absolutely no problem. Got to be a little more careful with my square designs depending on which colors I have used but once you dial it in and play with the psi pressure you figure out what works best for you. The wear and tear it has saved me on my hands will definitely prolong my glass career. ?

Chopper cutter glass PMC150

The chopper not only takes the grunt work out of hand cutting murrini but it will save me time & money. I was wasting murrini by getting inconsistent slices cutting by hand. With this chopper, I can set the thickness and chop away!

What an amazing chopper! So glad I purchased it. Works quickly and quietly and gets the job done! Sue is fabulous to work with, super patient and answers all your questions and checks in to make sure everything work properly. If you need to chop a lot of murrine definitely get yourself one of these!
