Blue and Green Pinwheel Platter

Description

Creating this pinwheel platter starts with a clear round piece of glass.  Next blue and green pinwheel shapes are cut out and laid on the clear glass.  Finally, six smaller pinwheel pieces of clear glass are placed on the blue and green glass.  This gives dimension to the colored pieces of glass.

All the glass is then fused together using a contour fuse (where there is still texture to the glass).  This process takes 24 hours from start to finish.

Finally, the glass is laid on top of a slumping mold to create the final platter/bowl look.
